Urban Lecture: Professor Jan Rosvall and Professor Salvatore Lorusso

Sustainable Development -
what do we learn from 25 years of pioneering?

Mistra Urban Futures invites researchers, students and practitioners engaged with sustainable development themes within their departments. The Urban Lecture will focus on where we began 25 years ago, and what we have achieved until today.
Our invited guests are Salvatore Lorusso, professor emeritus from the University of Bologna, and Jan Rosvall, professor emeritus University of Gothenburg and Chalmers. Together with some of their former PhDs, we will learn about the context and preconditions for sustainable awareness and advancements at Chalmers and University of Gothenburg 25 years ago. Professor Lorusso will contribute with the perspective of co-researching with the Swedish universities, but with the reference from the EU and Italy more specifically.
The seminar will be moderated by Ylva Norén Bretzer, University of Gothenburg and Mistra Urban Futures.
