Dynamics of Urban Change in the SDG Agenda

This project is a build-up on the activities that have been undertaken in phase one, which has been a learning process. We look at the potential of knowledge co-production and how this continues to drive the agenda of the urban population. The achievement of the SDGs involves adoption and adaptation of institutional strengthening and innovation by the players in the city. The project will use inclusive methods in generating knowledge on these dynamic change processes more so as the city strives to implement the SDGs as a driver of urban development. This is posed against an expectant citizenry who have their own visions on how the city in the devolved system should grow. In 2019 a Journal Paper will be prepared. This project will roll over beyond 2020.
