Johan Edman

Johan Edman works as Programmes Director at the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Environmental Research, Mistra.

In his position he is mainly responsible for the foundation’s investments in social sciences and humanities research. Before entering Mistra he worked at the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and Uppsala University. Johan holds a PhD in sociology from Uppsala University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Åbo Akademi University. Being the funder’s representative Johan is an adjunct member of the board.
