David Simon on Social and Spatial Justice

During 13-16 of February 2017 in Barcelona, the EU-funded INTREPID COST Action and the Barcelona Training School organised a workshop at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB) around Inter- and Transdisciplinary Urban Research.

David Simon, Director of Mistra Urban Futures and a member of the INTREPID Scientific Advisory Board, served as one of the trainers, presenting a session about Co-production towards Sustainable and Just Cities. Olivia Bina, a Mistra Urban Futures Board member, is the INTREPID Co-ordinator.

In connection to the workshop, the RELOCAL project at CCCB produced an interview with David Simon, where he answers some key questions around social and spatial justice. One of them addresses how processes of place-making can contribute to spatial justice.
